From 11-13 October, teams from member countries of the EPSF gathered in The Hague The Netherlands, for the Regional Championships which are held every 2 years. The event was hosted by the Netherlands Pencak Silat Federation (NPSF), organised in cooperation with the EPSF, & supervised by PERSILAT. This was the first ever European Open Championships, meaning that not only National Teams, but also member clubs of each country could take part.

The tournament was a tremendous success, with over 140 athletes from 10 EPSF member countries competing in 46 Sports & Artistic categories.
